Yellow Mood

Yellow shines with optimism, enlightenment , and happiness.
Dont you think so? That's why it becomes my new fav color haha.

cute random yellow!

Look at the stars
Look how they shine for you
And everything you do
Yeah, they were all yellow

I came along
I wrote a song for you
And all the things you do
And it was called 'Yellow'

Seoul Garden

The first time I heard Seoul Garden, it reminded me of korean drama LOL. Actually it's a resto at Emporium. Of course you can find popular korean dishes like bibimbap 부븸밥, bulgogi 맥적, kimchi 김치, etc, at the menu. And their price is pretty affordable.

Hi pals, January now! Hemm kinda a tough month for me. Lot of assignments must be submitted, I spend most of my time in front of monitor. Haha. And end of this month, I'll have my final exams before this semester ends. Why I soooo unmotivated.

One more thing, I a lil bit worry about weather this January.
Heavy rain, strong wind. Never leave your house without umbrella.

Tokio Kitchen

From its name, you must have known it is a Japanese restaurant. Hmmm more like a mini Japanese food court I think. There are many food stalls that you can see there from traditional food until fusion style. Takoyaki, ramen, tepanyaki, sushi, pizza, dessert, and many more.

 Japanese atmosphere. Very comfy

Hey guys have you watched this movie? Personally I like this movie, it has good humor and storyline. Emm great family movie, nice blend of action and comedy. But I'm not gonna give a movie review. I just want to show you some photographs of Antonio Banderas (as Puss in Boots) and Salma Hayek (as Kitty Softpaws).

Taiyaki

Have you ever heard about taiyaki? Sounds like takoyaki haha, but they're different. Taiyaki is also Japanese snack, hmm actually a fish-shaped cake.  Traditional taiyaki's filled with red bean paste. But now it has many flavours and  variety of fillings, such as chocolate, cheese, custard, etc.

Taiyaki became popular during tough times in Japan
because it's very easy to made.
It's also believed that fish is symbol of luck.

Well I need music to brighten up my day. And I found this catchy song, it will accompany me throughout the loooonngg day.

The song was originally sung by Blink 182. So it's not a new one, but Boyce Avenue brings new cover song Ok open up your ears.

Ramen! ラーメン!

Ramen is one of Japanese favorite noodles, besides udon, that has so so many variations. Just for ur info, there are 4 kinds of ramen: shio ramen (salt flavored soup), shoyu ramen (soy sauce flavored soup), tonkotsu ramen (pork bone based creamy soup), miso ramen (miso flavored soup).

I tried this at Ramen38 Sanpachi - Muara Karang.
Curry ramen with sliced pork.

Continue to South

After I went to Gorontalo, I visited Makassar (South Sulawesi). It's a very short trip, not until two days. Yes, Makassar is definitely one of largest city in Indonesia. It reminds me so much of Jakarta. And also Makassar has many famous traditional foods.

what's better than this pisang ijo with bubur sumsum?
